Atletico Madrid striker Antoine Griezmann, who has been linked with a switch to FC Barcelona and Manchester United, has reportedly made a massive transfer decision.
The Frenchman is said to have been a Barca and United transfer target in recent seasons, with the Spanish club emerging as favourites to secure his signature after his expected switch to the Red Devils broke down in August.
Griezmann was close to a move to England at the start of the campaign, but following the announcement of Atletico’s transfer ban, the player stayed with the Rojiblancos.
It is widely believed the 27-year-old will leave the Spanish side at the end of the season, and according to Sport, the player has made a decision on which club he wants to join.
It has been claimed that Griezmann has decided that he wants to take his career to the Camp Nou, and is even willing to earn less with the Blaugrana than he imagined.
It has been said that the France international initially demanded a wage of £193 000 a week, which would make him the club’s fifth highest earner, but due to the amount of players on big salaries at the club, Barca would apparently not be able to offer him that wage.
Griezmann has been in fantastic form this season at Atletico, scoring 23 goals and assisting a further 13 strikes in 38 games across all competitions.
